2021 Fall Residents Forum Meeting

8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Residency can be nerve-racking, from making a first impression on a big interview, to how to respond to a first offer, and everything in between. Join leaders and colleagues to gain from one-on-one mock interviews, refine your CV with expert input, learn financial preparedness, and how to negotiate a contract. This meeting is a must-attend for all who want to be ready for what comes next.


House of Delegates (HOD) Residents Forum Joint Session

9:00 AM – 9:45 AM

“If I Knew Then What I Know Now.” Pathology residents query seasoned HOD members in this first-of-its-kind dialogue. Take away tips on establishing your reputation and working in a multi-generational medical practice as we explore issues on the minds of today’s pathologists.

This is an all-member event. Gain insights in two focus areas: Responding to the 21st Century Cures Act and making the most of your medical practice. Connect with thought leaders and colleagues in this interactive format to strengthen your understanding and spur your success.  


Meeting of the Membership and Presidential Inauguration

This is an all-member event. Connect and learn from CAP leadership about CAP’s performance and which priorities will top the agenda as our new President. We will also install four newly elected members to the Board of Governors, the Secretary-Treasurer, and the new President-Elect.


Inaugural Celebration, honoring Emily Ellen Volk, MD, MBA, FCAP

6:30 – 10:00 PM

Come celebrate our achievements of this past year with the welcomed familiarity of colleagues in a cozy, speakeasy themed event with dinner, jazz, and libations. All members are welcome as we toast to our newly elected CAP President and our bright future.
