House of Delegates (HOD)—Your CAP, Your Voice

Do you want more control over your practice? Interested in getting more involved in a leadership role in the pathology community? Attend the House of Delegates meeting.

The HOD represents the CAP membership at the grassroots level. Delegates interface with senior member leaders to shape the direction and resources that support a viable future for pathologists.

Residents Forum—Get Involved while Preparing for the Future!

Just prior to CAP18— Saturday, October 20 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago— the CAP Residents Forum fall meeting will be open to all CAP Junior members.

This year’s Residents Forum meeting will include small group brainstorming activities where attendees will determine the top issues to be addressed by the Residents Forum Executive Committee. Attendees will learn what the future of pathology holds (whole slide imaging, artificial intelligence, automation and molecular) from a panel of experts and how to advance your career from those who have paved their own path to success!

Opening Meeting of the Membership

CAP18 officially kicks off Saturday, October 20, at 4:00 PM with this opening congress followed by a cocktail reception. All attendees are invited to meet, greet, network, and learn the latest from CAP President R. Bruce Williams, MD, FCAP, who will report on progress and priorities for today’s practicing pathologists. The CAP’s chief executive officer, Stephen Myers, will also provide a CAP business update, and new Governors and the Secretary-Treasurer will be sworn-in to the CAP Board.
