Opening Meeting of the Membership
CAP18 officially kicks off Saturday, October 20, at 4:00 PM with this opening congress followed by a cocktail reception. All attendees are invited to meet, greet, network, and learn the latest from CAP President R. Bruce Williams, MD, FCAP, who will report on progress and priorities for today’s practicing pathologists. The CAP’s chief executive officer, Stephen Myers, will also provide a CAP business update, and new Governors and the Secretary-Treasurer will be sworn-in to the CAP Board.
Cruise for a Cause with the CAP Foundation
The CAP Foundation delivers charitable funding to improve patient care—from advancing education for young pathologists to bringing pathologist-led cancer screening to communities in need through See, Test & Treat®.
Count yourself among the Foundation’s supporters when you join us for a dinner cruise and silent auction, Saturday, October 20, 7:00-10:00 PM. Take in Chicago’s dazzling views over dinner and drinks with colleagues and friends, while sailing along the Chicago River. This special event, departing just steps from the Hyatt Regency Chicago, is open to all CAP18 attendees and guests. Seating is limited; tickets are $150 each and can be purchased when registering for CAP18.
